The Houston Art Car Parade is produced by the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, at 501.c3 non-profit art foundation. As Houston’s largest free public art event, the parade and all Art Car Weekend events would not be possible without generous help from corporate sponsors, foundation grants, in-kind donations and individual giving.

 

Corporate Sponsorship

The Houston Art Car Parade and its surrounding events reach close to 300,000 people annually over the course of Art Car Weekend. The parade is a celebration of Houston’s can-do creative spirit.

Foundation Grants

Through our development office the Orange Show applies for and receives money from private foundations and government agencies, such as the National Endowment for the Arts. The annual economic of Art Car Weekend is estimated to be $800,000 brought into the local economy via hotel bookings and international publicity for the city of Houston

In-kind Donations

The Orange Show is always in need of in-kind donations, everything from catered food from local restaurants for Art Car events to gently worn office furniture and equipment to be used throughout the year. We also accept donated automobiles through Autos for Charity.
