Art Car Parade Entry Information
The Houston Art Car Parade is open to everyone!
It is a true public art event, created by the people and for the people. There is no pre-selection process, no juried selection of entries - everyone who makes a decorated, augmented or otherwise decked-out wheeled vehicle can be a participant.
Joining the Parade
Entry form will be live the week of March 1 - if you're reading this message it's not up yet, but coming soon! Deadline to enter is April 8, 2011. Entries will be submitted through this website, fee for private entries is $30. Be prepared to upload two pictures or drawings of your entry with the form, and have paypal or credit card info ready.
Creating Your Own Art Car
Want to know how to create an Art Car? There are no rules, but you can find many helpful hints in the book “Art Car How-To” by artist Beth Secor, available for purchase in the Orange Show gift shop.

As far as we're concerned everyone who enters the Houston Art Car Parade is a winner, but we do award special prizes in almost a dozen categories.
